Album cover design for one of the great pioneers of the art of Dub, Scientist. Here mixing a dub version of Los Angeles’ very own Hepcat’s Scientific album titled Scientist Meets Hepcat: Scientific Dub Special. The album cover called for a handpainted approach that calls back to Scientists classic dub LP’s from the golden era of dub. I used watercolor, ink and airbrush to achieve the vibes.
